As much as I loved the free reticle in mech3... I don't think it would work very well. They took it out because it essentially forced a keyboard and mouse game. I think that would be a bad idea.

ive been talking with the head of the development team and the head of the betatesting team they donot know exactly when it will be released but atm there telling me were looking at about summer of 09 when mp4 will possibly come out
also they are adding 9 mechs Firefly Battlecobra Guillitine (cant spell) Crusader Champion Linebacker Hotama-chi and i cant remember the other 2 atm ill get back to u on that

The patch has yet to be released, who knows when they will finally get it out there for us. meanwhile there are active DDM playing under the 302.b patch. Come join the mayhem.
