Good luck Giga!

Well Giga left this morning for Ft Worth to compete in the Cowtown Classic soccer tournament. Me and his mother could not attend so I wanted to post here to wish him and the team well. There are 20 teams in his age bracket alone. If you live in the area and would like to check out some pretty good teams and the worlds most beautiful game I know he plays staurday at like 9:30 am,1 pm and 6 pm at the rolling hills soccer fields. Or just check out the FT Worth youth soccer web site. He plays on the lubbock lonestar 95 team in the u12 bracket for correct times and fields.

Gabriel (nugget just turned 10 last week) is coming up the ranks big time.
At the moment he plays with his little hoodlum buddys at club U10's,
he can and has played at U11 and 12 and holds his own,
but prefers the comaradarie where he his.
He is doing something soccer related everyday, as well as attends private academy training clinics.
At the begining of the season, he and I negotiated a $/goal,
and the little shithead as the teams main striker is cleaning up @ $15 per goal, and emptying my wallet big time. Smile

Well they one the first game today 3-1
lost the second 3-1 and the third got rained out
They are supposed to reschedule for in the morning, man I'm a nervous wreck.

Ok here it goes, they got eliminated after having to take penaly kicks to make up game 3, which they won 4-2 then missed getting into the quarterfinals by 2 points I believe.
Even though they got knocked out I'm still very proud of the whole team for giving it their all.
