I have two sets of mercs discs. I installed one on my machine but I don't know which. If we install redeye with the same discs, will it keep us from playing in the same server?

Yes it could prevent you from playing on the same server, however if that happens I believe all you need to do is put the disk 2 from the other set in and the problem should resolve.

even if you both install with same discs, you can easily change your pid's if you must and for that matter you dont even need the discs to play. Contact me if you want to know how.

I say I have two sets, but what I actually have is one disc 2 and two copies of disc one. I'm sure I can find another disc two if I dig around a bit.

In the event you can't find the other disk 2 you could make an image of it and mount it using virtual drive pro. Thats how I've played for almost a year now so I don't have to keep the disk in the drive.

The only draw back I have noticed is the game launches when I start up the computer each day but thats only a minor thing.

i use daemon tools to mount the images, it bypasses all security checks from many different games.

Which disc actually contains the protection? I have 2 copies of disc one and 3 copies of disc 2. Can I get three games running in a server at once or just 2?

I believe you can run the 3 at the same time but I could be mistaken

I found all three sets, so we didn't get a chance to test the theory.
