Hell, I am lost on that one. For starters, you need a torrent downloader as posted above. Then the site says get 0.21 first, then get 0.27 as it will download what you need.

Hey Demon, it was your FIRST LINK which is dead, not the second, I DL that off torrent, no prob... But it doesn't know which program to use to open it. I think that's what the first one was for, right?

You downloaded the torrent or used the torrent to download the file?

Actually VOID the above post. (Unless you need it as a reference). ...I didn't need it. I went on MekTek & got the MTX Installer. Then went to the Downloads tab once it was installed & running, and just DL the free version from the list... -complete with all updates... .27? I think it went to. So now I'm all set up and running.
It has been quite some time sence I played MW4 Mercs, though I had the Vengeance CD and played that for a bit in the meantime. Not to mention MW: Living Legends, I also have been playing that online too. But being back on MW4 Mercs has certainly brought back a flood of good memories I had with my DDM friends, I'm really looking foreward to playing again with you guys on this Old School game. -I just need to know when (a time) and where (which server), and I'm there... Same goes for Living Legends... Though I want to spend some time on MW4 first, for old times sake.

UPDATE:

Okay, so. I can run MW4. I can go on Multi-player & see the servers & lists of available games. BUT yet AGAIN, I am having the exact same problem I was having this time last year, this damn Network Error. I can't JOIN a game. -I am online with several other games, so what is so damn finicky about this MW4 game that it won't let me in??? I have a new PC, new Internet Provider, and a new install of this game. My internet is new, but still a little slow, but I am still able to play Living Legends & Company of Heroes online... These are WAY more graphic etc than MW4.

THINGS I'VE TRIED: I have my Win 7 Firewall off. -But I have added MW4 to the exceptions list. I always run my games in Admin mode, ie I let it make changes to my PC. As for the set up of a Connection in MW4, I'm on Telus, which is provided by our Phone company, and actually used a phone cord. [But its faster than out Cable ever was.] So I'm not sure if that's where the trouble lies. ...Personally I didn't really want to get into all this Bullshit again, so I might just see you on Living Legends if I can't fix this... It almost doesn't seem entirely worth it when I have a much better alternative.



And I don't want to fuck up the ability of my other games getting online, thatss for sure.
